After making a successful debut opposite Aamir Khan in ‘Ghajini', she followed it up with films like 'Ready', 'Housefull 2' and 'Bol Bachchan'. All was going well with the actress until, very recently, when Asin seem to take a dig at her contemporaries.

In an interview, Asin mentioned that in her career, she never needed a rich boyfriend or daddies and grandfather to help her climb the success ladder. She said, “I am happy I have come this far here (Bollywood) on my own without godfathers, grandfathers or millionaire boyfriends.”

With ‘grandfather’ and ‘millionaire boyfriends’, we wonder if Asin was pointing fingers at Kareena Kapoor and Deepika Padukone. While Bebo has the entire ‘Khan-daan’ ruling Bollywood since ages, the latter, model-turned-actress, was in news for her various link-ups, break-ups and an unsteady relationship with Millionaire’s son, Siddharth Mallya.

It’s rare for an artist to get acceptance by the north as well as the south audiences and we are proud of how Asin managed it till here. But, a word of advice Asin, it’s better to not throw daggers at your contemporaries, especially when you are in B-town.
