Now, the expectations are high on Sallu as his first film under the coveted Yash Raj banner - Ek Tha Tiger – is ready to release.
While Salman’s film, directed by Kabir Khan, will be hitting screens on August 15th, his arch rival SRK is also shooting for yet another film under YRF banner. And obviously, both the Khans are going to be asked about each other’s films at any opportunity that media gets. In one such recent interview, when Salman was asked about the competition in Bollywood, he said, “There's a very strong and healthy competition and it's only increasing. But I want everyone's films to do well... Aamir (Khan), Ajay (Devgn), Akshay (Kumar), Shah Rukh (Khan).”
Speaking about SRK's films, Salman further added, "Well, I do want his films to do well... purely professionally... it's not just him. There are hundreds of people involved in a film and it's good when everyone makes money. So, I do wish Shah Rukh all the best."
Unlike in the past, where Sallu used to avoid commenting on SRK and his films, this time he chose to extend a friendly wish for the actor. We wonder if reconciliation is in the offing.
